Hello, my name is Ms. Denise. I have been the Sign Language teacher here at Montessori since December of 2010. I am now the co-teacher in Miss Stephanie’s class. I work with the children on their math skills while Miss Stephanie works on their language arts. Prior to working for Montessori, I worked for DeKalb School District for four years, working with kids with disabilities. I graduated from Waunbonsee College with my Sign Language Certification and will be working to get my Montessori teaching certification soon. I live in DeKalb with my husband and our three boys. I also have two step daughters whom I spend lots of time with on the weekends.
